B i o g r a p h y

Madeleine grew up in a small town where she began taking dance lessons at the age of three. She acquired the majority of her training at her local studio, Kingman Dance Center, under the instruction of Tim and Jordan Hegler. In 2007, Sarah Bennett became the new owner and director of KDC and completed Madeleine's training until her graduation as valedictorian from Kingman High School in 2013. During her time at KDC, Madeleine attended the Dance Revolution Convention and summer workshops by Friends University and Ballet Emmanuel. She also performed variations such as Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.

In 2014, Madeleine joined Kingman Dance Center's staff as an Assistant Instructor where she helped teach the fundamentals of ballet, tap, and jazz. She currently resides as the Tumbling Instructor. Madeleine also returns as a guest artist performing variations including Lilac Fairy from Sleeping Beauty, Medora from Le Corsaire, and  Juliet from Romeo and Juliet.

 
Madeleine recently graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet and a minor in Biology from Friends University under the primary instruction of Stan and Sharon Rogers. She currently resides in Wichita, KS taking classes while seeking God's direction and calling.


At Friends University Madeleine worked with a variety of choreographers including Dominic Walsh, Shawn Stevens, James Wallace, Melonie Murray, Nick Blaylock, Stan Rogers, and Sharon Rogers. Madeleine has performed in a variety of ballets including The Nutcracker, Les Sylphides, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Firebird, The Great PlainsBlue Diamond, and others. She has trained vigorously in ballet and has also taken many jazz, tap, and modern classes. Her academic pursuits include Dance History, Medical Terminology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology.
